Word to your motherboard.

Hi! I’m David Strack. I’m a 22-year-old undergrad at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN (pursuing a B.S. in Information Systems). For a living I do freelance website and software design as well as design and develop webOS applications for Palm phones. In addition to these passions (which keep me quite busy) I enjoy playing guitar and writing/recording my own music.

Skills

I’ve been a nerd my whole life, so I know my way around a computer (if you know what I mean). Here are some of the amazing skills that I could bring to you.

  • 6+ years of website design and development (XHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, WordPress, Drupal, etc)
  • 4+ years of .NET development
  • 2+ years of MySQL database design and administration
  • Mobile app development (Palm webOS, Android, iPhone, Windows Phone)
  • Basic graphic design skills (I can make stuff look nice, but I’m no graphic artist)
  • Audio/video production and editing
  • Thorough knowledge of UNIX (and UNIX-like) operating environments (such as Mac OS X and various flavors of Linux) as well as every version of Windows….ever.

Like what you see? Of course you do. Download my résumé (PDF).

About this here website

This site was founded on May 3, 2004 and has gone through several iterations and names. Right now I’m using this site to host my blog, my webOS applications, and the video projects I’ve worked on throughout the years. If you’ve followed my work for a while you’ll know I have a bad habit of not finishing things. I’m trying to get over that. Anyway, I’m a weird guy but I get along with most people. Drop me a note if you’d like to talk with me about anything.
